Is offering affordable private guitar and bass lessons for students of all ages. Lessons are tailored for individuals from beginner to intermediate. Lesson plans and curriculum vary, based on the students playing level, music background, knowledge of theory, musical tastes, and goals.
Hi my name is Jeff Norman, I opened Rock Creek Studio in September during the real estate crash of 2008. I am a Realtor and needed to supplement my income. Currently, I am again doing well in real estate sales, but found that I enjoy teaching guitar so much that I continue to teach two days a week.
I am self-taught on electric bass and acoustic guitar. I have played bass for more than thirty-five years; in the 70’s I played bass professionally in cover bands and have played on several local worship teams for more than 15 years. I have played Acoustic guitar for many years and have been actively leading worship for more than the last twelve. My style is Contemporary Christian Rock/Worship; I have an excellent knowledge of music theory, improvisation, and experience in preparing for and leading worship; additional experience in writing songs, vocal technique and recording. I currently lead worship at Calvary Chapel Placerville.
